| Job Description | The duty station is the John Cochran Division but may be changed to the Jefferson Barracks Division, or duty at both divisions, based on the needs of the Medical Center. Area of Consideration: VA–Wide and All Status Eligibles, however, First Area of Consideration will be given to any local employees at VAMC, St. Louis, MO. Second Area of Consideration will be given to any other promotion candidate or candidate required to compete from other VA facilities. Third Area of Consideration will be given to all Status Eligible Candidates. Attention Status Eligible Candidates: In order to be considered, Transfer and/or Reinstatement applicants must provide last or most recent SF-50, "Notice of Personnel Action" which indicates proof of competitive status. Veterans must provide a copy of final discharge papers (DD-214) that documents the type of discharge received. If you are claiming 10-point veterans preference you must also complete a SF-15 "Application of 10 point Veterans Preference", furnishing the required documentation as stated on the back of the SF-15. You will not be considered eligible for this position if you fail to provide proof of status as indicated above. |

If you are on terminal leave from active duty, attach a letter from your commander indicating the date of discharge and type of discharge.
